One Thought on “2016 Shrine Bowl rosters announced

  1. Dan Brownell on January 23, 2016 at 12:41 pm said:

Wow—a great bunch of very fine young men were named to these teams and 2016 WY Shrine Bowl should be a good one. I am especially proud of my Grandson, Jake Brownell, Cheyenne Central for this and all of his post season honors. Jake you should be very proud of your accomplishments as anyone can tell you it is most difficult to move from one town to another but you moved from a very fine team at Sky View H.S. Logan, UT to Cheyenne Central H.S. Wyoming. You came to Cheyenne as soon as school was out in Utah and you worked hard all summer & fall to learn & to start in a whole new position as Offensive Center. You also continued to improve on Defensive Line and was seeing more playing time there was well at the end of the season. My thanks to a Coach that could see the potential in a new kid in town and for working extra with Jake on showing him the ropes of playing Center. Gramps is proud of you Jake (Jacob) Brownell on a job well done.
