6 Thoughts on “Week 7 picks: Green River’s lucky number is…

  1. I say you miss three in class 3a—Green River, Jackson and Douglas I think win–I say Riverton is the better team, however, Douglas does not lose at home–

  2. Riverton on October 11, 2012 at 12:44 pm said:

The Green River-SV game is of great interest to me because the playoff road for us will probably have to go through one of those 2. We played GR even and haven’t played SV for 2 years so don’t know how we match up there. Douglas is going to be tough but I think Douglas is more likely to be beat there this year than when we lost twice there 2 yrs ago. They have great fans that appreciate good football and hope we see a good game a come home with a win. Good luck to all!

I realize I went on a limb picking Riverton over Douglas, especially in Douglas. Smart money is on Douglas but the scare Lander put into Douglas has me a bit cool on the Bearcats right now. … I think the Star Valley-Green River game will be a great one. I don’t see either team winning by more than 10. …

Outside 3A, the games that really have my attention this week are Burns-Glenrock, Thermop-Mountain View, Lingle-Pine Bluffs and Meeteetse-Guernsey. Really intriguing matchups this week.

  4. I know Midwest and Snake River will be a great game. I can say from watching my brother play this year that snake river better watch out. I think Midwest will come out on top. Mainly because my brother plays for them, You know how that goes. Im just sad that I cant make the game. I know being at snake river will help Snake River too.

  5. Midwest Oilers on October 12, 2012 at 2:15 am said:

So you picked against the Oilers in the big game in Baggs this week? First place for the winner? Where are your loyalties?

I got to watch the Midwest-Snake game last year and I definitely think the Oilers can give the Rattlers a scare. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Midwest win that one. It was one of those games I picked by home field; if it was in Midwest, I probably would have picked the Oilers.

I have to admit, I am surprised by how well Midwest is doing this year. Losing the seniors that they did, I figured it would be a little rebuilding this year before really taking charge next year. Happy to see they’ve proven me wrong. đŸ™‚
