Cheyenne Central’s Rhett Muchmore has been added to the South squad’s roster for the Shrine Bowl.
He will replace Laramie’s Andrew Pearson.
The annual all-star football game will be June 13 in Casper.

Eight players have been added to the rosters for the Shrine Bowl — four on the North squad and four on the South.
Douglas’ Hunter Haman, Mountain View’s Logan Lupher, Cokeville’s Macen Petersen and Cheyenne East’s Nathan Taylor will join the South team, replacing Star Valley’s Cole Critchfield, Douglas’ Colter Haman, Mountain View’s Austin Houskeeper and Rawlins’ Jalen Krening.
The North will add Rocky Mountain’s Caleb Horrocks, Tongue River’s Pierce Jardine, Thermopolis’ Choc Maddock and Burlington’s Trevor Wardell to replace Tongue River’s Lane Dockery, Sheridan’s Tory Music, Kelly Walsh’s Marcus Nolan and Powell’s Kalei Smith.
The all-star football game will be June 13 in Casper.

The trainers and managers for the North and South squads of the 2015 Shrine Bowl all-star football game are now set.
John Cundall, Shrine Bowl executive director, announced the selections via email Monday. Selections include:
North student trainer: Makayla Pzinski, Gillette
North student manager: Rylee Maya, Worland
South student trainer: Riley Dolezal, Mountain View
South student manager: Lanie Troughton, Mountain View
Chellsie Johnson (Kelly Walsh, North) and Jenna Walker (Douglas, South) will be the certified trainers for the game, which will be June 13 in Casper.

The alternate players have been named for the 2015 Wyoming Shrine Bowl. The players chosen will play in the game if one of the players named to the original roster can’t play.
The North squad has named eight of its 12 alternates and will name four other players later. The South has named all 12 of its alternates.

After several years of playing the Shrine Bowl under the artificial lights, the annual all-star football game will once again be played under natural light in 2015.
The 2015 Shrine Bowl will start at 2 p.m. this year, executive director John Cundall said via email.
Cundall said the change is a better option for participants and fans alike.
The game will be June 13 at Cheney Alumni Field in Casper.

The coaching staffs for the 2015 Shrine Bowl all-star football game are set, executive director John Cundall announced Sunday.
The North, led by head coach Matt McFadden of Cody, will also have Meeteetse’s Matt Jensen, Upton-Sundance’s Andy Garland, Big Horn’s Michael McGuire, Natrona’s Steve Harshman and Cody’s Randy Smith on staff.
The South, with head coach Brent Walk of Mountain View, will be supported by Guernsey-Sunrise’s Chris Link, Lusk’s Matt VandeBossche, Douglas’ Jay Rhoades, Evanston’s Pat Fackrell and Mountain View’s Ken Petersen.
The staffs will choose the players for their respective teams. The 42nd annual game will be played June 13, 2015, in Casper.

A pair of championship-winning coaches will lead the Shrine Bowl squads for the annual all-star football game in June.
Brent Walk, who led Mountain View to the Class 2A championship this season, will lead the South squad, while Matt McFadden, who helped Cody win the Class 3A title, will coach the North squad.
The game will be June 13, 2015, in Casper.
Each coach will now select assistant coaches; together, the staffs will select the players for the game.
The North leads the all-time series 20-18-3 and won last year’s game 41-13.
Proceeds from the game go to the Shrine Hospitals.

The 2014 Shrine Bowl all-star football game raised $30,000 for the Shrine Hospitals, executive director John Cundall said via email Monday.
The game, played in June in Casper, helped raise money for 22 hospitals in the Shrine Hospital system. Shrine Hospitals focus on care for children.
The 2015 game will be June 15 in Casper. The North squad won this year’s game 41-13.

Rock Springs’ Nick Blume broke two longstanding individual Shrine Bowl records on Saturday.
The South team, led by Blume and quarterback Austyn Matthews of Douglas, also set several unofficial team records despite losing 41-13 to the North in the annual all-star football game in Casper.
Blume broke two 30-year-old Shrine Bowl records with 168 receiving yards and 13 catches, breaking the mark set by Sheridan’s Chuck Johnson of 151 yards on eight catches from 1984.
Matthews set a South team record for total offense (312 total yards, 289 passing and 23 rushing), pass attempts (39), passing yards (289). The South also set team records for pass attempts (56), pass completions (31) and passing yards (342).
The North team tied team records with five offensive touchdowns and six total touchdowns and set a new team record with 41 points.
The North now leads the all-time series 20-18-3.
