Welcome to wyoming-football.com! This site was created and is maintained by Patrick Schmiedt, a sports reporter at the Casper Star-Tribune. The site is open for use by all members of the media, fans, coaches, players, parents and passers-by. My only request is that you don't take this information and directly use it in any way to make money. I make no money off this site -- in fact, I have to pay for my Web space, so I'm actually losing money by having this up here (see below) -- so my only request is to give credit to my sweat equity when it's due. If you use information from this site, PLEASE credit wyoming-football.com when you do so.

Cool stuff

Standings: Where does your team fit in? View standings either by winning percentage or by total wins, through the end of last season.

Winners: You can view a table of Wyoming state football champions. Although not as prestigious, you can also view a list of state runners-up. Also broken out from the rest of the database, are the state championship games, also available as a breakdown of championship games by class.

Streaks: Here, you can view lists of Wyoming's longest winning and losing streaks.

Stadiums: Google Maps views of Wyoming's high school football fields.

All-stars: See a list of Wyoming's all-state football teams since 1991. Or, see a list of the Casper Star-Tribune's Super 25 teams. Or, see a list of Shrine Bowl results.

Scoring records: See lists of scoring records, including most points scored in a game, most combined points scored in a game and fewest points scored.

You can help!

The highest priority, besides filling out years before 1951, is filling in the MISSING GAMES. I have about 225 games, plus or minus, that need information filled in. Sometimes, it's the score, sometimes it's a game's location, sometimes it's the date, and sometimes it's all three. Also, I know there are games that were played that, for some reason, didn't make it into this database. I'm interested in hearing about those games, too.

As this Web site becomes more known, we will probably find some errors on this site. I cannot guarantee 100 percent accuracy on the compilation of scores and records, as the scores have been compiled from various sources with varying degrees of reliability. I'm committed to correcting any errors. My sources are listed on the paper codes page.

This web site is not designed to make money, and that's not the goal. At the same time, presenting the research is not free.
