Hanna head coach Tom Waring will take over the football program at Rawlins.

Waring, who has been Hanna’s football coach for the past four years, takes over for Brian Anderson.

Rawlins activities director Darlene O’Melia verified Waring’s hire via email to wyoming-football.com on Thursday.

Waring went 16-22 in his four years with the Miners, but led the team to the state six-man championship game in 2010.

Anderson went 1-23 in three years but did help Rawlins snap a 35- game losing streak last season.

A replacement for Waring in Hanna has not yet been named.
